Anand Gandhi's debut feature film Ship Of Theseus was screened at the 14th Mumbai Film Festival on October 24. The film was a part of the 'International Competition' section at the festival. The audience at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, comprising of over 1100 people, gave the film a standing ovation post the screening. The elated director then got his entire team on the stage and introduced each one of them. The cast of the film, Neeraj Kabi in particular, received much appreciation from the attendees.
The film is about three disparate people, a devout monk stricken by illness, a young woman who is given a second chance and a stockbroker who sets out to combat the illegal international trade in human organs, who are linked by an unknowing connection in the city of Mumbai.
Ship Of Theseus, starring Sohum Shah, Aida El Kashef and Neeraj Kabi is produced by Recyclewala Films.
